to Historic Ellensburg's website. Our mission is to protect and
preserve the irreplacable heritage of Ellensburg and the Kittitas
Valley. Please take the time to peruse this website to become
familiar with our many projects and concerns. If you share our
passion for historic preservation and advocacy, we'd like to
invite you to our next meeting to take part in our interesting

It's Yard Sale Time!
Our 2008 Annual Yard Sale fund raiser will be held Saturday,
September 20 at the Condit's (215 E. Ninth in Ellensburg) from 9am
until 2pm. We are currently collecting donations of salable items
to help finance our work in the coming year. The only things we don't
accept are clothing, televisions, and computers. Donations can be dropped off
at the Condit's at 215 E. Ninth in Ellensburg. Please call
ahead (925-4726) to arrange a drop-off time. Let us help you
pass on those things you no longer need and contribute to
historic preservation!

New Monthly Meeting Day!
At the April meeting, Historic Ellensburg voted to move its
monthly meeting to the first Wednesday of each month at
5:30 p.m. The location will remain the same; at the home
of our hosts, the Condits, at 215 E. 9th in Ellensburg.

The Depot - SOLD! - Yeah, really!!!
The historic Burlington-Northern Depot located at the western
end of Third Ave. is now in the possession of the City of
Ellensburg, who will weather-proof it and then turn it over
to Historic Ellensburg for further renovation. Please check back
often to learn of the latest developments in our quest to
bring this beautiful building back to community service!

An on-line tour of historic Ellensburg has been created by Paula
